Industry Program in Petrochemical and Refining
Distance Learning
Program Overview
The objective of Industry Program in Petrochemical and Refining- Distance Learning program is to provide an intensive and up to date learning in the emerging area of Chemical sciences. The program provides a basic to advance level of expertise in Petrochemical and Refining and its usage in the industry.
About Petrochemical & Refining
The aim of this course is to provide a basic scientific and technological understanding of petrochemicals their production and refining along with knowledge of fuels and lubricants. The course can stand alone to provide an excellent introduction to the subject for those who are engaged in the petroleum industry and or for those who want to get into the industry.
As the petroleum industry evolves, technology continues to advance by leaps and bounds. Processes such as crude oil distilling, for example, have improved significantly in the past decade as a result of equipment improvements and optimized protocols.
Now, more than ever, engineers and other staff need to be continually trained throughout their careers in order to keep up to date on trends and changing technology. Ultimately, your facilities cannot afford to be left in the technological dust. The money that can be saved from more efficient equipment alone should be enough of a motivation to invest in education now.
International environmental pressures are increasing as well. High profile petroleum disasters such as oil spills have sparked desires to make the petroleum industry cleaner and safer for the environment. Many courses can help companies stay well under set standards while also saving the environment.
Program Ideology
This program is specially designed keeping in mind the intricate nature of Petrochemical and Refining and its practical applications and applicability in Petrochemical and Refining. In true sense this course gives candidates how Petrochemical and Refining can be applied in various and different areas.
