This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to assist in the development and delivery of food services to meet the nutritional needs of client groups. You will learn how to plan and modify meals according to nutrition care plans and dietary guidelines associated with a range of health issues and to meet the dietary needs of cultural and religious groups. You will also learn to support food services in menu and meal order processing, provide assistance to nutrition and dietetic services and follow basic food safety practices.
